What "managed" actually means here

Managed is a word every host uses and few define. On our plans it means these things are our job rather than yours: server provisioning and configuration, security patching, SSL issue and renewal, DDoS protection, daily backups, uptime monitoring, and restoring the site if something breaks.

It also means you do not get a control panel to misconfigure, and you do not get root access. That is a deliberate trade: the reason managed hosting is reliable is that fewer people can change it. If you want to install arbitrary server software or tune the stack yourself, you want a VPS from a cloud provider, not us — and we would rather say so now than after you have paid.

Uptime is 99.99%, which allows roughly 53 minutes of downtime a year. That figure is worth comparing carefully against others: 99.9%, which sounds almost identical, permits nearly nine hours.

Pricing without the renewal trick

Budget hosting in India is usually sold on an introductory rate that applies to your first prepaid term and then renews at a multiple of it, automatically, against a saved card, long after you have forgotten the terms. By then your site, email and often your domain live there, so leaving is inconvenient at precisely the moment you are annoyed. That is not an accident; it is the business model.

Our pricing is deliberately built to have nothing hidden in the second year. Standard is ₹4,000 per year — the same each year, with no promotional first term. Lifetime is ₹25,000 once, after which there is nothing further to pay for hosting.

SSL, daily backups, DDoS protection and migration are included rather than sold as add-ons, because the add-on pricing model is the other half of the same trick.

Moving an existing site to us

Migration is included, and the sequence matters more than the speed. We take a complete copy of files and databases and confirm it restores before anything changes. The site is rebuilt and tested on a temporary address while your current hosting keeps serving visitors. DNS time-to-live is lowered a day ahead so the switch propagates quickly.

Email is handled separately and verified before the website moves, because email is what people actually lose in a badly sequenced migration. Only then do we switch DNS, and we ask you to keep the old hosting running for a week or two while propagation completes rather than cancelling it immediately.

Done this way visitors typically notice nothing. If your current host makes exporting difficult, tell us early — it is a common tactic and it changes the plan.

When this is not the right hosting for you

You need root access, custom server software or a particular stack we do not run. Managed hosting trades that flexibility for reliability.

You are running an application at genuine scale with unusual infrastructure requirements. A cloud provider and a devops engineer will serve you better.

You want to manage your own updates, patching and backups, and value control over convenience. That is a legitimate preference, and paying for management you will not use is not sensible.

You want your business email on the same hosting. We recommend against it regardless of provider — shared sending reputation puts your invoices in spam through no fault of yours.

Hosting questions

Is there a renewal price increase after the first year?

No. Standard is ₹4,000 per year every year — there is no promotional first term that expires into a higher rate. Lifetime is ₹25,000 once, with nothing further to pay for hosting afterwards. This is deliberate: the introductory-rate model used across budget hosting depends on you not noticing the renewal until switching has become inconvenient, and we would rather compete on the actual price.

What does 99.99% uptime actually mean?

Roughly 53 minutes of unavailability across a year. It is worth understanding the scale because the numbers look similar and are not: 99.9% allows about 8.8 hours annually, and 99% allows about 3.65 days. A provider quoting 99% is quoting a genuinely poor figure in language engineered to sound generous. As with any provider, scheduled maintenance is normally excluded from the calculation.

Can you move my existing website across?

Yes, and it is included. We copy files and databases and verify the restore before anything changes, rebuild and test on a temporary address while your current host keeps serving visitors, lower DNS time-to-live in advance, move and verify email separately, then switch. We ask you to keep the old hosting running a week or two afterwards rather than cancelling immediately. Visitors normally notice nothing. If your current provider makes exporting awkward, mention it early.

Do I get cPanel or root access?

No, and that is intentional. Managed hosting is reliable partly because the configuration is controlled — provisioning, patching, SSL, backups and monitoring are handled by us rather than exposed for editing. If you specifically want to install your own server software, tune the stack, or manage the machine yourself, a VPS from a cloud provider suits you better than we do, and we would rather tell you that before you buy.

What is the difference between this and the Business Growth plans?

These hosting plans are for a site you already have and want hosted properly — ₹4,000 a year or ₹25,000 once. The Business Growth plans are monthly and bundle the website itself being built and maintained for you along with hosting, starting at ₹2,000 a month, with SEO, WhatsApp campaigns and paid ads on the higher tiers. If you have a finished site and just need it hosted, buy hosting. If you want the site handled as well, the growth plans are better value than paying for both separately.
